Throughout the month of October, diners in Tallahassee, and across Florida, will have an opportunity to support breast cancer research while enjoying a delicious meal at Shula’s 347 Grill located in Hotel Duval. Earlier this year the Moffitt Cancer Center announced the statewide partnership with Don Shula, the winningest NFL coach of all time, and his wife Mary Anne to establish The Shula Fund.
The Shula Fund was established to raise funds for breast cancer care and research in Florida and beyond. The Shula’s $1.5 million donation will help improve care for the more than 1,000 new diagnosed breast cancer patients who are treated at Moffitt each year. The fund selects the most promising breast cancer research projects being conducted at Moffitt to fund.
Throughout the month of October, diners have an opportunity to support this endeavor. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Shula’s restaurants, Shula’s 347 Grill will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the Steak Mary Anne entrée to contribute to The Shula Fund.

The Don Shula Foundation was established in Miami more than 20 years ago as a tribute to family members who had succumbed to breast cancer. Through the foundation, the Shulas have supported breast cancer research at Moffitt for nearly a decade.
